All too often we are in a 'holy' hurry with our devotional time. I wonder do we measure it in minutes or as a 'must do' then I will feel good?
I cant think of anyone in history who has changed the world through science, literature, or personal sacrifice, who didn't make their plans and preparation in quiet solitude. No growth in holiness has ever been achieved by anyone who doesn't take time, frequently, to be alone with God.
Our time in prayer can change the course of a persons life.
Our time in prayer can change the world.
Our time in prayer can change us.
Let's not just sit a moment praying , but in our heart, fall on our knees, and grow there.
